Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 18 May 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "TCS") define the terms of the financial transactions carried out on the the1vs1.com platform, published by SARL BAYE Conception.
2. Paid services
The Platform offers the following paid services:
- Depositing funds: The user can credit their virtual wallet via PayPal to participate in challenges or tournaments.
- Participation in challenges: The stake is deducted from the user's wallet and locked for the entire duration of the match.
- Participation in paid tournaments: Entry fees are deducted from the wallet and held in escrow by The 1vs1 until the tournament closes. Free tournaments are not a paid service: no amount is charged and their rewards, defined in text by the organiser, do not transit through the Platform.
- Host funding of a tournament prize pool: The organiser of a host-funded tournament has the total prizes, plus a 2% platform commission, debited from their wallet at creation and held in escrow until closing. Players register for free.
- Commission: A commission is charged on the challenge winner's winnings. For paid tournaments, a 2% commission is charged on the organiser's commission. For host-funded tournaments, a 2% commission is charged on the total prizes funded by the host. No commission applies to free tournaments.
- Referral: On challenge matches eligible for the referral programme, part of the commission may be credited to the partner via their referral wallet, according to the rules in force on the Platform.
3. Deposits
- Deposits are made exclusively via PayPal.
- Funds are credited to the user's virtual wallet upon payment confirmation.
- The minimum deposit amount is €5.
- Deposits are not directly withdrawable. Only winnings from won matches can be withdrawn.
4. Withdrawals
- Withdrawals are available only on winnings (sums won in challenges or tournaments).
- The minimum withdrawal amount is €5.
- Withdrawals are made via PayPal to the email address specified by the user.
- Each withdrawal request is reviewed by the BAYE Conception team. The processing time is generally 24 to 72 working hours.
- BAYE Conception reserves the right to refuse a withdrawal in the event of suspected fraud or non-compliance with the Terms.
Referral commissions are first credited to a separate referral wallet. They must be transferred to the main wallet before they can be withdrawn, subject to the minimum transfer conditions displayed in the referral area.
5. Refunds
- If a challenge is cancelled by the creator before an opponent is confirmed, the stake is fully refunded to the user's wallet.
- In the event of a draw (both players declare a loss), the stakes are refunded to both players.
- In the event of cancellation or suspension of a paid tournament by the organiser or by The 1vs1, entry fees are fully refunded to all confirmed participants.
- In the event of cancellation, rejection by an administrator or suspension of a host-funded tournament, the entire escrowed amount (total prizes + 2% platform commission) is returned to the host.
- Deposits made via PayPal are non-refundable, except in the event of a proven technical error.
6. Prices and currency
All amounts displayed on the Platform are expressed in euros (€). The Platform does not convert currencies and is not responsible for any exchange fees applied by the bank or PayPal.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code (applicable by analogy), the right of withdrawal does not apply to online gaming services once their performance has begun with the user's agreement. By accepting a challenge or making a deposit, the user expressly waives their right of withdrawal.
8. Liability
BAYE Conception acts as a technical intermediary. It is not a party to the matches played between users and cannot be held liable for financial losses resulting from challenges.
